Fabric defect
Although the bag was not used regularly like max 10 times and handled by adults 90% of the time the fabric ripped with minimum use. I have always associated Skip Hop with quality and durability, so this issue is quite disappointing.

Cute but poorly made
This backpack is cute but it is terribly made. It's falling apart after being used by a 4 year old for 3 months. The water bottle pocket has a hole so big you cannot put a drink in it, the bottom has holes in it, and the backpack is so dirty already. Don't waste your money, even our Walmart backpack has lasted longer!

Too small for accessories
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered this bag with hopes my 1st graders will be able to keep all their things together. But the side pockets are too small even for the thermos that matches the set. Not impressed with the quality either. Zipper sticks at times.
