Works exactly as needed for us
Keeps my daughter dry enough for laying at outdoor preschool. Keeps the mud off her clothes when the kids sit in the big puddles. She's not dry at the end of 3 hrs of playing in the rain but not completely soaked. The more they are washed the less water resistant they are but that is like all pants. Bought the next size up for this fall/ winter.

Not waterproof
Toddler wears these over her leggings with the cuff over her rain boots. The leggings are always soaked from the rain. I feel like these splash pants do nothing.
